Cooking for Kids

Cooking for Kids

What is it?

Cooking for Kids is an exciting volunteer opportunity for Children’s Miracle Network supporters. This is an easy and fun way for you and your friends to make a difference in our community by helping local children. You host a social gathering of your choice and invite your friends. Your friends bring donations for Children’s Miracle Network. The concept of Cooking for Kids is simple – You host the party – your friends bring donations!

We suggest any type of “dinner” party that you are comfortable hosting. You could host a tailgate party around your favorite sporting event, a backyard cookout, a themed potluck, or even a gourmet dinner. You choose the guests, the date, the time and the theme and simply ask your guests to bring along a donation to Children’s Miracle Network.

When/Where does it happen?

Cooking for Kids can happen anytime and anywhere you choose! You can host a gathering in your own home, host a block party for your neighborhood, or even gather at a local park or picnic area.
